Colonie au statut impérial rien de moins! Depuis de nombreuses années, elle culmine au panthéon des vitessiers et des demi-fonciers.
Après des débuts modestes comme de nombreux débutants, le vrai départ se prit lors de son installation en sa demeure actuelle et grâce à la collaboration de son fils Franck.

Même si Franck s’est établit à Blegny, il assure une part importante de la gestion sportive en se rendant fréquemment pendant la saison sportive au domicile paternel.   Selon Jean « Franck à une main » extraordinaire pour dénicher les nouvelles acquisitions, en témoigne l'introduction de 4 femelles Dehon Demonseau origine "Best-Kittel. Des renforts indispensables pour qui veut progresser et pour le marquage des pigeons. 

Ce tandem est d’une efficacité redoutable et constitue un excellent exemple de colombophilie pratiqué en famille. Preuve en est que notre sport est un hobby qui peut encore d’exprimer à l’heure actuelle.  Remporter un titre National une année n'est déjà pas facile, mais confimer ce statut l'année suivante est encore plus compliqué et bien Jean & Franck Bodson on fait mieux encore en remportant non pas un mais deux titres nationaux en cette saison 2024!!!
