La souche Debacker est devenu le travail de toute une vie et la figure de proue de cette colonie n'est autre que le Nick. Ce super reproducteur est issu de la lignée du Bliksem de Vandenabeele. Ses enfants, ses petits-enfants et ses arrière-petits-enfants ont permis à Chris de jouer à un excellent niveau ces derniers temps. Et c'est tout naturellement que la plupart de ses principaux pigeons sont des descendants du Nick, ce qui vaut également dans d'autres colonies.
